South Western Railway (Mysuru) celebrated International Labour Day

Mysuru Division of the South Western Railway celebrated International Labour Day (May Day) with a grand felicitation ceremony held at the Chamundi Club, Yadavagiri, Mysuru. The event honored 38 dedicated staff members who have rendered 20 years or more of exemplary service in safety-concerned departments such as Track Maintainers, Signal Maintainers, Pointsman, Pointswoman, Loco Pilots, Train Managers, and Engineers from various departments.

The felicitation ceremony, organized by the South Western Railway Women's Welfare Organization, was graced by the presence of Smt. Shilpi Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru Division, and President of the South Western Railway Women's Welfare Organization. In her address, Smt. Shilpi Agarwal highlighted the pivotal role played by the workforce in the success of the Railway organization. She emphasized the importance of fostering a congenial and collaborative environment between the management and workers, which she described as the cornerstone of a thriving organization.
